2025 Recap of Thrive Clermont

As the 2025 year came to an end, Thrive Clermont celebrated this year’s victories and achievements with its final winter event: the Winter Ice Cream Social. 

Planning for the Ice Cream Social had consisted of numerous Zoom meetings with the Thrive Teen Advisory Council in order to discuss the logistics and details of the event, which had eventually rounded out to the final Teen Advisory Council being a day of solely planning and preparing for the event.

At the event, there were numerous stations with crafts and games, a photobooth, and several animals, such as snakes, prairie dogs, 2 tortoises, and a wallaby, were present for guests to interact with. Thrive’s “12 Days of Giving” Raffle had been set up on-site, and Thrive’s new Giving Tree had several new additions of leaves, flowers, and salamanders. 

Local businesses such as Lake Days Dirty Sodas and Mama’s Freezer Ice Cream served guests with delicious drinks and dirty sodas, and overall, everyone had a great time at the event.

To wrap up the month of December, Thrive was the chosen charity for Another Broken Egg Cafe's Grand Opening! Members of the community were able to RSVP for a free meal at the restaurant, and in exchange, they were asked to donate to Thrive Clermont. 

The month of December was one that rounded off a year of hard work, and the whole Thrive team is proud of how much we’ve accomplished all together. We can't wait to hit the road running during 2026!
