Teen Advisory Council Leadership Program – Thrive’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC) Leadership Program is the key to the success of Thrive. The TAC is made up of students from around the region who are interested in volunteering to serve within our organization. The TAC Leadership program has a formal application and membership process. Each semester we have an onboarding/training session to integrate the members of the Teen Advisory Council.  After Onboarding TAC have weekly Zooms and monthly in-person meetings along with outreach opportunities. TAC members and adult mentors collaborate on executing all aspects of Thrive’s programming.

Responsibilities and opportunities expand for students based on interest and skills. Up to 16 teens each semester have the opportunity to develop their skills in Video, Social Media, Outreach, Event Planning and Fundraising. TAC members experience the opportunity to interact within a diverse group trying to achieve a common goal. These opportunities boost self-esteem and strengthen the student’s confidence.  TAC members also create new connections with teens from other schools and positive adults.

Applications are currently Open through July 30 for our Fall TAC.   Onboarding and service begins August 16th.
