About the event
Thrive's Summer PopUp program offers teens a SAFE and FUN environment to learn new skills and hobbies from area experts, all while getting out of the house and spending time with friends and peers. With dozens of topics and interests covered, teens won't want to miss the activities throughout the season. Each week will boast a list of fun activities for teens to choose from. FOOD, FUN and MORE....
Select ONE activity per teen per night, as all activities run concurrently for the night.

If you know the basic rules of chess and would like to improve your game, this is for you. Jacob will cover a variety of common openings and how to best defend, strategies to avoid a stalemate, and famous end games. Jacob will also share the puzzle features he uses to improve on chess.com
