Land Your First Job Event
EVENT UPDATE: Online registration has closed. We will have food vouchers for all students who have registered online. Walk up registration will be available and food trucks will have food for purchase along with free ice cream for everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone Wednesday at 5:30pm!

About the event
· Over 15 employers from the Central Florida region. Confirmed employers include Lake Correction Instutution, Cherrylake, Orlando Health, Amazon, AdventHealth, City of Groveland, and more.
· Students looking for upcoming summer employment can connect with options early.
· Students seeking an immediate part time job will have the opportunity to speak with and apply on the spot.
· Students exploring full time work options for post high school graduation can prepare and explore options.
· Students can choose to have an onsite mini-coaching session for their resume.
· Students will have a chance to sign up for an onsite mock first interview.
· Students will receive information and resources related to labor laws, including special laws for minors.
· Students will learn tips and tricks to stand out and get that first job (or raise).
· Students can meet local employers with good job opportunities in the local area and learn about any educational or technical trainings required.
Free dinner for the first 100 students who register. Food trucks will be available for additional students and families who wish to purchase.
