TAC (Teen Advisory Council) is an advanced volunteering + leadership training program. Up to 16 students serve each semester alongside mentors to plan and deliver Thrive's programs. Students gain real-world experience in Event Planning, Social Media, Video Production, and Outreach.

About the event
Thrive’s Teen Advisory Council (TAC) Leadership Program is the key to the success of Thrive. The TAC is made up of students from around the region who are interested in volunteering to serve within our organization. The TAC Leadership program has a formal application and membership process. Each semester we have an onboarding/training session to integrate the members of the Teen Advisory Council. After Onboarding TAC have weekly Zooms and monthly in-person meetings along with outreach opportunities. TAC members and adult mentors collaborate on executing all aspects of Thrive’s programming.

Responsibilities and opportunities expand for students based on interest and skills. Up to 16 teens each semester have the opportunity to develop their skills in Video, Social Media, Outreach, Event Planning and Fundraising.
