Adult Volunteer Opportunities for 2019 with Thrive Clermont



Event Planning and Execution: Our Teen Volunteer PlugIns, Summer PopUps and the Teen Summit represents many hours behind the scenes of adults AND teens working together. 


Time Commitment:  Each program has its own planning committee. 

Event planning is a six month commitment in advance of the event and includes one planning meeting per month (1-2 hours) plus an additional 2-10 hours per month depending on your role AND attendance at the event or series (of course)



Board Member: Board members set the strategic direction for the organization, approve the budget and provide fiscal oversight, participate as a key volunteers, serve as ambassadors in the community, and commit to be a donor to the organization at a level that reflects their capacity to give. 

Time Commitment: Board positions are 3 year commitments.  Includes all day retreat the first Sunday in January, Six Board meetings per year (1.5-2.0 hours), Supporter Brunch in December, and additional time monthly based on other key volunteer role(s) selected.


Community Advisory Council: Community leaders who agree to participate in a Quarterly Discussion on specific topics to advance our mission.  Invitation only.

Time Commitment – 2-3 Hours once a quarter
